Eliseo López Nitsche
Founder and Managing Director of SouthEnergy SpA,
Electric Engineer from Universidad de Chile, MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. With over 20 years of professional experience, Eliseo was part of the team that started Natural Gas operations in Central Chile and has substantial experience in the negotiation and administration of contracts with Natural Gas Producers and Transporters in Argentina and Chile. As Gasco executive, Eliseo was appointed CEO of Gasnor S.A. (Northern Argentina Natural Gas distributor) where he was responsible for all the operation’s up and downstream contracts negotiations and operation.
Marcelo Biason
Development Manager
Mechanical Engineer from Universidad Catolica and MsC in Engineering. With over 20 years of professional experience, in areas such as Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality administration and Planning, Marcelo has had firsthand experience with Natural Gas producers, transporters and distributors as he was responsible for the management of the purchasing, importing, transportation and distribution contracts of Natural Gas from Argentina to be delivered to Metrogas Res-Com and Industrial customers as well as combined cycle power plants of San Isidro (ENDESA), Nehuenco (Colbún) and Nueva Renca (AES Gener).
Marcos Cisterna
Commercial Manager
Electrical Engineer and MBA from the Universidad de Chile and Universidad Católica de Chile respectively. With over 10 years’ experience has participated in several electrical companies such as Colbun, AES and AELA. He has an extensive experience in Engineering, Planning, Commercial and Regulation areas in the Energy sector. As an executive, he has contributed in several regulatory pieces and proposed new schemes in power incomes for renewable energy companies.
Felipe Durán San Martín
Senior Consultant
Electrical Engineer from Universidad Catolica with 20 years of professional experience in the Industry and vast experience in the Electric market, Risks and Insurance working for multinational companies with responsibilities in Chile, Argentina and Colombia. As an associate at SouthEnergy, he conducted consultantships for Electric Generators, Mining and Gas Companies, the Electric Coordinator, Insurance companies, etc. Besides his experience with SouthEnergy, where he’s taken part in many studies for the Electric, Gas and Mining Industries.
Mauricio Midón
Senior Consultant
With over 25 years of professional experience in trans-national companies in the energy industry. Among other positions, as part of the Naturgy Group, Mauricio was General Manager of Gasoducto del Pacifico (NG pipeline connecting Vaca Muerta’s region basin and mid-southern Chile) and Development Manager for the NG business in Chile and, previously in the Brasil – Argentina – Uruguay sub region. Mauricio has been instrumental in the strategic planning and positioning of the Naturgy Group in Spain and Latin America.
